Born in Barranquilla, Colombia and currently residing in Coral Springs, Florida, Betty Dominguez graduated with honors from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree with a concentration in painting. She dedicated herself to the discipline of art and its higher education and understanding for over 24 years and counting. Betty is a national recognized professional street chalk artist who specializes in stunning comic characters and Alphonse Mucha’s work at times. Her street chalk art is combined of appropriated graphic elements, three-dimensional (3D) view & pop art influences. Her aim is to stimulate viewers instantly, visually, emotionally and mentally in any way possible and to communicate her art with simplicity, color and concept.
